Travel Lane County promotes the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region to visitors, meeting planners, sports planners and the media. At all levels of our organization, it is our job to help others fall in love with our region as a destination for leisure and business travel.

Travel Lane County is seeking an experienced, approachable, and enthusiastic leader to serve as the new President & CEO. 

In addition to being responsible for all organizational outcomes, the President & CEO is a visible leader and collaborator in regional economic development, working with a variety of organizations, governmental units, and elected leaders to achieve prosperity. 

Strong values of servant leadership, stewardship, and economic growth are required for success as the President & CEO of Travel Lane County. 

This position opened April 3, 2024. Paper review will begin the first week of May 2024. The committee hopes to schedule interviews for late May/early June 2024. Position open until filled.

Travel Lane County’s mission is to grow overnight visitors for a vibrant, year-round countywide economy.

Visitors staying in hotels, motels, and B&B accommodations generate the strongest economic return on a per person basis. The transient room tax collected is re-invested in destination marketing and tourism development strategies.

We work to ensure Eugene, Cascades & Coast is one of the most preferred travel destinations in the Pacific Northwest.
