The Wooden Boat Festival takes place in the spring at Eagle Rock Lodge on the banks of the McKenzie River. The festival also includes the Wooden Drift Boat Parade on the wild & scenic river.
In the summer take in the scents of the Lavender Festival at the McKenzie River Lavender farm. The region is also host to the McKenzie River Chainsaw Art Festival where wood carvers create intricate masterpieces using chainsaws.

A celebration of lavender grown in the Pacific Northwest. During this glorious summer weekend, area lavender farms open their fields for tours, photography and painting, shopping and lectures. The McKenzie River Lavender farm, just outside Springfield offers a Lavender Labyrinth, specialty lavender products from oils to pillows, u-cut lavender and lavender refreshments.

A 3.5 mile hike in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest. The trail rolls up and down through gorgeous trees, crosses several creeks with lush vegetation and offers ample opportunity to enjoy giant trees and mossy forest floor. Carpools depart from Eugene. RSVP online.

Enjoy live music outside at the last original log lodge on the McKenzie River. A historical speaker will also give a short talk about the area. BBQ and brews also available.
The event will be a 2-person 16k relay (each running 8k total). Participators can chose the length of their legs as long as each runner does the same amount.

Come out to this fun all-ages, non-competitive track meet. Events include 100, 400 meters, predict-a-mile, selected distance event, high and long jumps, javelin and steeplechase. All the proceeds benefit the track.

Cache for the Eagle is a free geocaching event that will take place at Willamette Pass Resort that involve finding hidden containers out in the Cascade Mountains.
The 62nd annual community fair celebrating the wonderful area. Enjoy a day of fun and festivities including a tractor show & shine. Area residents show their produce, baking, sewing, arts and crafts.
Sale of fresh apple cider/juice pressed on site. Participate by helping the owners press their heritage apples or simply watch the lost art of making apple juice.
