Coburg

Located in the south Willamette Valley near Eugene and the I-5 corridor, Coburg is a peaceful farming community built around green pastures, U-pick farms and vineyards. Neighborhood farms raise sheep, cattle, alpacas and horses. In spring, enjoy the baby animals and in the fall, drive the scenic roads garbed in colorful autumn leaves. Each season offers plenty to see and do in and around Coburg.

Coburg is on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic District with over 187 sites and structures. Immerse yourself in the 1800s with a self-guided tour of its beautifully-preserved historic buildings, peruse Coburg's many antique shops and specialty stores, and savor homemade fare in the country-style cafes. The community is known for its events and festivals such as vintage car shows, antique fairs and quilt shows.

Not far from the McKenzie River, Coburg is also a destination for fishing, kayaking and birding. Meander the river paths of Armitage Park or cycle back country roads; be sure to bring your camera to capture the idyllic landscapes.

Expand your experience to include quiet afternoons reading on the porch of a cozy bed and breakfast or soaking up nature at a local campground and RV park. Wherever you choose to stay in Coburg, you will relish the easy pace and small town experience.
