The Emerald Valley Golf & Resort hosts occasional golf tournaments and other events. In Summer, Creswell's annual Fourth of July Celebration is a blast! Featuring a community breakfast, parade, games, crafts and entertainment, Creswell celebrates in classic small town style. Enjoy a fireworks show at dusk. In the winter, Creswell presents a Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration. Grades 6-12. Gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants through school-age children. This class addresses safety issues, preventing injuries and illnesses, basic child care, first aid, decision making skills and age-appropriate behavior and play. A minimum of six participants is required to operate class. Please bring a sack lunch.
Ages 12-18. Cabela’s and the Cottage Grove-Eugene Sportsmen’s club sponsor this entry-level youth shooting class. Participants start the day learning the basics of gun safety in the classroom. Students then spend the afternoon on the skeet and trap range, putting their learning into practice.
