Springfield Events

Springfield's event calendar is jam-packed with family-friendly activities such as park concerts, outdoor movies, childrens' teas, fishing tournaments, holiday festivals and ongoing performing arts. Willamalane Park and Recreation District offers fun recreational opportunities for adults, seniors and kids and The Eugene, Cascades & Coast Adventure Center near Gateway Mall hosts the Adventure Club for kids.

Other event highlights include Springfield's "Oldest and Coldest" downtown Christmas parade. Springfield's Island Park is also ideal for fireworks on the Fourth of July.

Family Afternoon Raft on the Willamette River

Spend a day with your family (ages 7 and up) paddle rafting down the Willamette River from Island Park to the River House.
