City of Eugene Parks & Open Space Division

Explore 50 miles (80.5 km) of walking, hiking, and biking trails covering over 3,000 acres (1,215 ha) of publicly-owned open space throughout the city of Eugene. The parks includes 30 miles (48 km) of waterways and many wetlands, forests, prairies and savannas supporting a wide diversity of flora and fauna, excellent for bird and wildlife watching. Skinners Butte Park hosts an impressive children's playground with miniature town and water features, as well as picnic shelters and a sweeping view of downtown Eugene.
