Please use this general check list as a guide to what services you have utlized.
- Review your profile and website listing.
- Send Travel Lane County your logo or an image for website listing on www.TravelLaneCounty.org to info@TravelLaneCounty.org.
- Request access to our Extranet for updating your account, posting special offers and responding to leads. Contact membership@TravelLaneCounty.org to request access.
- Link to www.TravelLaneCounty.org from your website.
- Drop off or send 50 brochures or 25 business cards to Travel Lane County for distribution at the Downtown Eugene Visitor Information Center. If you are interested in having your brochures displayed at the Adventure Center in Springfield, the cost is $100 annually.
- Sign up to receive the Travel Lane County Member Updates and Tourism Industry News via email. These keep you informed about marketing opportunities and tourism industry information. If you haven't already done so, contact info@TravelLaneCounty.org to sign up.
- Review the Travel Lane County Advertising and Marketing Opportunities to select items that will enhance your marketing efforts.
- Attend a Market Your Business; Travel Lane County's member orientation.
- Promote your business to Travel Lane County staff during a Member Spotlight.
- Attend other member events throughout the year. Check out www.TravelLaneCounty.org/memberevents or read the member updates for details.
- Order Travel Lane County publications (visitor guide, visitor map and/or restaurant guide) for use with clients and/or customers.
- Enter upcoming events in the online calendar at www.TravelLaneCounty.org/submitevent.
To further maximize your marketing package(s), below are specific services to consider.
Tourism Marketing Package
- Purchase visitor inquiry or relocation leads/mailing label for 10 cents per name. Contact info@TravelLaneCounty.org to request this service.
- Contact the Tourism Sales Manager if you are interested in the Group Tour market.
Convention Marketing Package
- Sign up to receive convention leads by contacting info@TravelLaneCounty.org.
- Contact the Convention Services Manager if you are interested in marketing to meeting planners.
- Attend monthly Convention Marketing meetings.
- Accommodations: Set up meeting wtih Vice President of Convention & Sports Marketing.
Business Marketing Package
- Promote your business to other members using the Travel Lane County member lists that are emailed quarterly.
- Identify business prospects from list.
- Send out letter/brochure/discount coupons to prospects.
- Follow-up with personal contacts.
