Both regional ski resorts offer Nordic trails and tubing, or visit a state-designated Sno-Park.

On Highway 58, Salt Creek Sno-Park is an easy place to play in the snow. With restrooms, a plowed parking lot and a small maintained snow-hill, it's the perfect place to toss snowballs, make snow angels and do some family-friendly sledding. Find phenomenal snowshoeing or cross-country skiing trails around Gold Lake, warming up at strategically placed shelters. And rev up the snowmobile at Waldo Lake Sno-Park for some winter sightseeing!

Remember to purchase your Sno-Park Permit in advance and check road conditions.

The Waldo Lake Snowmobile Trail is accessible from here. Enjoy miles of scenic winter views on snowmobile routes all around the lake. Snowmobiles are not allowed in the designated Wilderness area.
