| Just a little more than an hour from Eugene - Springfield, the Oregon Coast is a beautiful playground all year round. Must-see landmarks along the Oregon Coast include America's largest sea lion cave, the century-old Heceta Head Lighthouse and the massive sand hills of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Thrill seekers can sign up for dune buggy rides or go sandboarding at the world's first sandboarding park. There is so much to do along the Oregon Coast! In Dunes City, many a record-setting trophy fish has been caught at Siltcoos Lake.
