![]() | Experience the rejuvenating power of Oregon's natural hot springs as you soak in the calming mineral water. Along the McKenzie River (Hwy 126) discover Terwilliger (Cougar) Hot Springs. Six tranquil pools draw crowds of visitors year round. Relax at the Belknap Hot Springs Resort. This manicured retreat offers two spring-fed swimming pools complete with the spa environment, gardens and hiking paths, dining and overnight lodging from RV and campsites to lodge rooms and private cabins. Day-trippers can use the lower pool for a nominal fee. Bathing attire is required. |
In the other direction of the Cascades, venture to Oakridge (Hwy 58) and immerse yourself in the warmth of the McCredie Hot Springs, just past the Blue Pool Campground. Caution is urged as the springs can be very hot.
A short hike to six natural pools in a gorgeous waterfall setting under shady trees. Day use only, strictly enforced by the Forest Service. Nudity is not permitted in the vicinity; however, clothing is optional IN the pools. Located about an hour and 20 minutes out of Eugene on Highway 126. No camping. Cost $6 per day. Recreation Passes are not valid at this site.
