Veneta's landmark event is the Oregon Country Fair held annually on private country acreage and attracting free spirits from across the region. Explore living artfully and authentically in joyous and healthy ways. Immerse yourself in a wonderland of entertainment, beautiful crafts, wholesome foods, and magical surprises.
During June go on a barrel tour through Oregon wine country. On Saturdays, a deluxe charter bus tours four local wineries, each offering delicious appetizers paired with wine selections. See the calendar below for more events in Veneta.

Heroes 2 Oregon Paddle Challenge
July 20, 2013 - Event Days & Times: Saturday
- Location: Perkins Peninsula Park

Teams of 10 paddlers paddling a 29’ voyageur style canoe on a short prescribed course, racing against the clock and other teams. The course is an out and back approximately 400 – 500 yards. Each team will have two runs and the times will be combined. Upon returning to the shore a team member will exit the canoe, run a short distance and ring a gong, thus ending the time.
