And, of course, the city of Eugene is known by more familiar titles like Track Town USA, the Running Capital of the World, and the birthplace of Nike. It's the place where national and international track & field legends compete at the University of Oregon's Historic Hayward Field; cycling is a way of life; and triathlons center around the region's many beautiful lakes. Dexter Reservoir is home to world class rowing and speedboat events.
