A temperate climate and natural landscapes suited for outdoor recreation, make the Eugene, Cascades & Coast region ideal for many sports.

Known as Track Town USA, Eugene is a hot spot for running. Miles of running trails align with scenic cycling routes. With the area's many lakes, it is no surprise that the county is becoming a triathlon center as well.

U.S.A. Today includes Autzen Stadium in their Five Best College Football Stadiums (2013) and Eugene in their Best College Football Towns (2012), and we have to agree!

Fans cheer our many diverse sports teams from collegiate golf, basketball, volleyball and gymnastics; to minor league baseball and ice hockey; to community roller derby and soccer.

Athletes come from all around to train at the McKenzie Community Track & Field in the Cascades.

Golfers enjoy a plethora of golf courses, including spectacular courses adjacent coastal dunes. And skateboarders find that skate parks abound.
