9th Annual McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival

The Downtown Eugene Public Library will host an illustrated talk on The Tutankhamun Textiles by Nancy Arthur Hoskins. Hoskins will talk about the textile treasures found in Tutankhamun's tomb, including belts, collars, head coverings, gloves and garments embellished with embroidery, beads and woven bands. She will focus on the Tunic of Tutankhamun, a complete linen tunic still beautiful and colorful after 3000 years.
