Hardesty Hardcore Trail Run 14 Mile & 5.5 Mile

Drawing from the museum’s permanent collection, Pacific Northwest artist Morris Graves' work "Metamorphosis" is highlighted. Graves considers metamorphosis a spiritually rich symbol of growth and renewal. This exhibition focuses on two aspects of this concept: regeneration and enlightenment. Visions of Metamorphosis was organized by curatorial assistant Lindsay Keast from the Department of the History of Art and Architecture, under the guidance of McCosh Associate Curator Danielle Knapp.

This year more than 50 people signed up to participate in MECCA's 6th Annual Object Afterlife Art Challenge. Their compositions will be on display at this unique and intricate art exhibit, with an opening reception on September 5th.

The Back Dock is a series of fifteen paintings on wood panels featuring images of swimmers at a lake where generations of the artist's family have spent summers since the 1930s. The works are on display on the second floor, in the Magazines and Newspapers room at the downtown library branch.

Imagine and discover a world you can’t see during The Summer of Small, as we explore the world at the nanoscale in the Exhibit Hall. How small is the nanoscale? Well, a sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometers thick - so really small, at the level of atoms and molecules.

Since the 1970s, rain or shine, the Saturday Market has been a vibrant hub for local artisans. It is the longest running weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States!
