America's biggest 4th of July 10K where there is something for everyone. With a competitive 10K & 5K, a 4.5 mile walk, a challenging course and awesome t-shirts, Eugene's most popular road race continues its long tradition and ignites the holiday fireworks.

This intermediate level tour offers a sample of the area's best trails and features rides through almost everything the Willamette National Forest has to offer. You'll ride along cool, clear rivers, through beautiful alpine meadows and ancient old growth forest. Cost includes guides, camping and meals.

Enjoy a hardy fourth of July breakfast to start of the day and then arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, a parade at 11 a.m. and a huge fireworks show at dusk.

The Maude Kerns Kerns Art Center partners with Eugene’s Active 20 – 30 Club to present this festival and fireworks show. In addition, the event features 20 Oregon wineries, a beer garden, international food booths and family-friendly activities for Independence Day.

Springfield Utility Board presents fun, food and fireworks in this annual celebration by the river. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.

The David Joyce Gallery located in the Center for Meeting and Learning at Lane Community College has opened its final exhibit of the 2011-12 academic year all about the inspiration of the color and term "Green."

Bergeman's photographs document his exploration of the light, landscape and way of life that once flourished along the navigable rivers of Oregon's Coast Range.

A exhibition and accompanying publication by Eugene based artist, Lynda Lanker, presenting portraits and stories of the more than fifty women, from thirteen western states, who gain their sustenance and livelihood from the land.
