Slabtown vs. Lemati or The Feud That Made "Going Postal" Popular

This family-friendly melodrama features youth actors ages 9 – 14 and takes place during Cottage Grove’s annual Bohemia Mining Days Festival. Back in the 1880s, the towns of Slabtown and Lemati occupied opposite sides of the Willamette River in what is now Cottage Grove. They argued about a lot of things, including where to site the new post office.
