Established in 1892, Dorris Ranch is Oregon’s oldest working filbert (hazelnut) farm. Take a day trip to the Heceta Head Lighthouse, just north of Florence on Highway 101. Rising 205 feet (62.5 meters) above the ocean, this historic lighthouse provides visitors with refreshing views of the expansive coastline and crashing waves below.
