• Eugene's public transit system is bike-friendly.

Scenic Cycling Roads

• Cruise the Pacific Coast Byway - An All American Road, stopping in Florence for clam chowder and sandboarding.
• Ride through historic covered bridges and along an old railroad line on the Row River Trail in Cottage Grove.
• Just outside of Cottage Grove, encircle the picturesque Dorena Lake. 
• Roll through gentle wine country, wine-tasting and staying at B&Bs.
• The McKenzie Scenic Pass is a favorite bike ride when the road is still closed to cars but navigable by bike in late spring.
• The Aufderheide Scenic Byway takes you past Terwilliger Hot Springs and Cougar Reservoir.

Mountain Bike Trails

• The epic Alpine Trail in Oakridge takes you downhill with breathtaking speed and views! The Oregon Adventures shuttle  will take you and your bike to the trailhead.
• Take a gondola ride to Eagle Peak and ride down at the Willamette Pass Resort / Oregon Skyway (summer only).
• Hop aboard the bike-friendly McKenzie River Mountain Resort shuttle for more mountain biking adventures! The top rated McKenzie River National Recreation Trail follows its namesake river through old-growth forests and ancient lava fields.
• Right outside of Eugene is the Rattlesnake Butte Trail winding through open farmland and forest.
