| Roadside farm stands along Eugene's River Road (toward Junction City) and farmers' markets throughout the county, offer organic vegetables, nuts, and fruits in the spring and summer growing seasons. Delight your palate with the fresh taste of locally grown food such as tomatoes, hazelnuts, potatoes, and a wide variety of orchard fruits. U-pick farms allow visitors to walk into the fields and select their choice of fresh fruits including berries, apples, peaches, cherries and rhubarb. In the fall, several farms have pumpkin patches where customers can choose their own pumpkins or walk among apple orchards and taste the fresh apple cider. |  |
