Crystal spent a decade as a film publicist in Hollywood before venturing to the Midwest, where she dabbled in organic food, green energy and politics. She felt the call to return to the McKenzie River - inspired to connect and empower rural residents in her hometown. Crystal is currently supporting various projects and events in the vibrant community and is working to build a public market on the river. Crystal loves crabbing on the coast, solo hiking in the Cascades, fly-fishing small streams and spending time with her family, dogs and chickens in Vida, Oregon.
