The forecast for Memorial Day Weekend calls for sun, low 70s, and a spectacular time at  wineries in the South Willamette Valley. The journey begins with a less than 30-minute drive along the eastern edge of the Coast Range.

  • Iris Vineyards Opens Vineyard-side Tasting Room 82110 Territorial Hwy Eugene, OR 97405 Saturday – Monday, Noon – 5 p.m.One of the region’s premier producers of Oregon pinot noir is reopening the tasting room at their vineyard, which is just a 30-minute drive from downtown Eugene.   • Eugene Urban Wine Circuit - Wine In the City! 540 Charnelton St Eugene, OR 97402 Sunday, 2 – 6 p.m.Visit six urban winery tasting rooms at the Eugene Urban Wine Circuit’s “Wine in the City” event on Sunday, May 25. Taste small batch wines, and dine on foods from local chefs. A guest winemaker/winery will also be at each location. Pick up your pass at one of the participating wineries. Those include Capitello Wines, Oregon Wine L.A.B., Territorial Vineyards, Noble Estate, J.Scott Cellars, and Eugene Wine Cellars or purchase tickets here.
