As the cooler fall temperatures bring changes to the riparian zone, Riparian Tours is offering a Fall Colors Tour. In the months of September and October, the colors of the deciduous trees in the McKenzie and Willamette watersheds will begin their color palette migration from greens to yellows and onto oranges and reds. This season is a great time see the river valley in its fall wardrobe in the comfort and warmth of a McKenzie river drift boat. The McKenzie river above Leaburg dam is the backdrop for the Fall Colors Tour. The float is approximately three hours in duration with snacks and beverages provided. The cost is $200 for a boat occupancy of one or two guests.
