Steelhead Brewing Co.

Steelhead Brewing CoSteelhead Brewing Co. is in downtown Eugene across from the Fifth Street Public Market.

One of Eugene's first established breweries in this most recent era of craft beer. A founding father in the resurgence of microbreweries nationwide. Classic upscale brew pub atmosphere with brick, dark wood and antiques. Sidewalk seating and an outdoor covered patio which attracts cyclists and University students. This is also a popular business lunch destination. Lots of TVs make it a great place to keep tabs on the game.

  • Ten craft beers on tap
  • Year round brews include Hazy Hef, James Blonde, Hopasaurus Rex, Raging Rhino Red Ale, Twisted Meniscus IPA and Bombay Bomber APA. Their seasonal and dark beers include Break-Action Porter, St Bernard Brown, Orange Wheat, Pumpkin Ale and Unforgivable Darkness. Also known for their Steelhead Bottled Rootbeer and Original Spicy Draft Rootbeer
  • Twenty-four of their beers have won awards since 1991
  • Due to trademark issues, Steelhead bottles their beer under the McKenzie Brewing Company label. McKenzie Brewing Company beer is sold in stores across Oregon from Newport to Bend
  • Opened in 1991 when there were only 21 craft breweries nationwide. Many of today's local and independent brewmasters discovered their passion for brewing beer here
