The Eugene Airport is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Eugene. The airport offers direct service from Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Phoenix-Mesa, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Seattle via Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM PORTLAND

(110 miles north of Eugene)

Here are several options for ground transportation if you decide to fly into Portland. 

Car rental: Many major car rental companies are located at the Portland Airport. 

Amtrak:  To get to the Amtrak Station in downtown Portland from the airport you can take the Tri Met MAX Light Rail rapid transit. 

  • Board the Red Line MAX going to the Rose Quarter
  • Get off at the Rose Quarter stop
  • Get on the Green Line which will take you to within one block of the Amtrak Station at Union Station

The Eugene Amtrak Station is conveniently located in downtown Eugene and just minutes from most hotels in Eugene.  Depending on the time of day you are traveling Amtrak offers three travel options.

  • Amtrak Cascades: Average travel time 2.5 hours. 
  • Amtrak Thruway Bus: Average travel time 2.5 hours. No checked baggage. 
  • Amtrak Coast Starlight: Average travel time 2.5 hours. 

Shuttles: The Hut Shuttle is a very convenient and affordable service from the Portland Airport to Eugene. Rates range from one of $57 - $112 for a round trip. Pick up and drop off in Eugene is the Phoenix Inn near the UO campus.

Getting Around Eugene - Springfield

Getting around the Eugene - Springfield metro area is easy. Lane Transit District (LTD) provides public buses that are bicycle-friendly and accessible with wheelchair lifts. PeaceHealth Rides offers affordable and convenient bike sharing within downtown Eugene. And both Uber and Lyft are operating in the area.

Autzen Stadium Shuttles & Parking

Shuttles

The best way to get to Autzen is by shuttle. 

Shuttle service begins at 3 p.m. and includes your return trip. Shuttle tickets may be purchased in advance Ticketmaster for $6 or at time of service for $5. At shuttle stop, tickets are cash only and exact change is required.

Shuttle locations are: 

  • Valley River Center, Northwest parking lot behind Cross Fit, Eugene
  • RiverBend Annex, 123 International Way, Springfield, North and East parking lots. Shuttles will depart from the East lot.
  • Lane County Fairgrounds, 796 W 13th Ave, Eugene. Shuttles will depart from bus stop on 13th St adjacent to parking.
  • Springfield Station, South A St, Springfield.  Shuttles will depart from “Events” Stop in Springfield Station.

The shuttle drops off at Autzen Stadium’s south gate. All shuttles are ADA compliant. 

Parking 

You may wish to park near the University of Oregon campus and walk or ride across the Frohnmayer Footbridge to the stadium. Or park in downtown Eugene and use the DeFazio Bridge at Alton Baker Park to walk to the stadium. Valet bike parking will be offered near the canal footbridge on the south side of Autzen Stadium.  

The Autzen Stadium general parking lot is sold out. Limited ADA parking with valid placards is available in the East Autzen lot (until sold out). Neighboring lots may have spaces for $40 cash as fundraiser for their various organizations. These may operate on a first come, first serve basis.

Autzen Stadium Venue Policies & Restrictions

Will Call

Valid identification must be presented to pick up will call tickets. The south ticket office opens at 10 a.m. and the north ticket office opens at 5 p.m.

Security

Weapons of any kind including concealed carry weapons, knives (including pocket knives), mace (pepper spray and keychain pepper spray), blades and tools are prohibited. Large belt buckles will need to be removed during the security screening process. 

Photography & Cameras

No commercial or flash photography of any kind is permitted. Guest are welcome to use still cameras for personal use at Autzen Stadium. Tripods, mono pods, “selfie sticks” and cameras with a lens longer than 3” (detachable or non-detachable) will NOT be permitted into the stadium. Video cameras and video recording of events with other devices at Autzen Stadium are prohibited.

Clear Bag Policy

Only bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” will be permitted into the stadium. Small clutch bags that are 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options. Bag check will be available at PK Park and outside the South Gate for $5 per bag. More bag information.

Outside Food & Beverage

Personal water bottles and other outside food and drink are not permitted. Concessions for purchase will be available within the venue.

Smoking

Autzen Stadium is a smoke and tobacco-free venue. Smoking (including electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products) is prohibited on property, including inside of the stadium perimeter and in the parking lots.
