Celebrate the 13th anniversary of one of America's premier marathons. Thousands of participants, fans and volunteers from around the globe will show up on race day (Sunday) for the Eugene Marathon and Half Marathon in TrackTown USA. All your established running events are on the starting block including a 5K and the Kids 1K Duck Dash on Saturday. On Friday, before the racing begins, explore the Health & Fitness Expo at the Lane Events Center.
As Hayward Field will be under construction for the entirety of 2019, the Eugene Marathon has moved the start and finish line to Autzen Stadium. Participants in the both the full-length and half marathons will begin on Leo Harris Pkwy in front of the stadium and finish by passing through Autzen's east tunnel to finish on the 50-yard line of the football field. The extremely fast and flat course will run over the Ferry St Bridge, through downtown Eugene, by Amazon Park and up Fox Hollow Rd, past the University of Oregon Campus, on the Ruth Bascom Path, on the Willamette River by Skinner Butte, on either side of the river up to Delta Ponds and along the north side of the river into Springfield before heading to the finish line..
The Eugene Marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier and can even earn top finishers a spot at the Olympic Trials!
