The 9th Annual Blues Build Concert at Bennett Vineyards & Wine Company will feature Karen Lovely, the Hank Shreve Band, Barbara Healy & Groove Too, and Paul Biondi & Skip Jones. The event, a benefit for Junction City/Harrisburg/Monroe Habitat for Humanity, will include a silent auction for a Hawaiian vacation, a wine wall raffle, and Bennett wines, local beers and food carts in addition to the powerhouse blues lineup! Portland-based Karen Lovely, the 2016 Muddy Award Winner of “Performance of the Year,” brings her mix of contemporary and old-school blues to the Blues Build Concert for the first time. Lovely's standout performances have garnered awards and critical acclaim at festivals and venues throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Barbara Healy and Groove Too returns to the Blues Build stage with her soulful vocals and lyrics, as does the Hank Shreve Band with energetic blues and Hank’s virtuoso harmonica performances. Local favorites Paul Biondi and Skip Jones round out the lineup. Eugene food carts Kat’s Calico Kitchen, Oregon Wood Fired Pizza, Taco Intrusion and Vinnie’s Smokin’ BBQ will be at the event.
The concert is presented by Jerry’s Home Improvement and Bennett Vineyards & Wine Company. Tickets are $30 in advance and are available online at www.BluesBuild.org.
