Explore diverse foodways through chef demonstrations, hands-on learning, and delicious flavors and take some new tastes home to add to your culinary repertoire! Explore regional differences, religious influences, and the modern dining experience of Indian cuisine. Demonstration includes spice identification and preparation, flavor extraction, marinades, rubs and cooking methods. Participants will make a recipe of Saag Paneer, a classic spinach and cheese dish. Appetizers and a glass of beer or wine are included, and each participant gets a package of Garam masala spices to take home. Space is limited and preregistration is required.
