The Maude Kerns Art Center presents the 36th Annual Art and the Vineyard, the premiere art and wine festival of the Southern Willamette Valley. Enjoy Oregon-made wine, global food, beer, entertainment and special activities all weekend. This year's festival includes the Artists' Marketplace, garden art showcase, international food court and beer garden, wine court, multiple live music acts each day on the Main Stage and a kids' area. For a fun activity, join the Plein-Air Painters in the park to paint under the sun at 11 a.m. on July 6; no cost but please register in advance.

Musical guests for the 2019 celebration include party band The High Street Band on July 4, blues/soul/roots group Red Bird on July 5 and high-energy bluegrass folk-pop group The Sugar Beets on July 6, with other acts playing earlier in the day on July 4 and 6.

The Freedom Festival Fireworks Show and Celebration also takes place at Alton Baker Park on the evening of the Fourth of July, so be sure to stay late for the festivities.
