Bird expert Jim Regali will lead an early morning bird walk in the Long Tom River Watershed west of Junction City. Regali will lead a hike through the intact, meandering section of Ferguson Creek that runs through property managed by the McKenzie River Trust. Bring binoculars to spot some of the local winged creatures. Confluence Farms is a place to see waterfowl, turtles, frogs, cranes and event lamprey. The 62-acre Ferguson Creek Conservation Easement is part of the McKenzie River Trust's efforts to preserve and protect habitats for native plants and wildlife. Registration is required and more information will be provided to registrants.
