Park rangers from the Siuslaw National Forest will lead guided programs and hikes throughout the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area every weekend this summer. Twenty-six miles of trail in the Scenic Area feature old-growth forest, remnants of Native American life, unique formations where land meets sea, tidepools and stunning views. Cape Perpetua scenic area comprises 2,700 acres of coastal habitat with rare ecological characteristics and views that extend 70 miles along the coastline.
