Climate Change in Oregon: How Fossils Foretell the Future

Details

Oregon has an extensive fossil record from a period when carbon levels were as high as they are expected to be by 2100. Join Greg Retallack, director of paleontological collections at the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History, to discover how we can use the fossil record to validate computer models of future climate change. An event from the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, hosted at the Eugene Public Library, in the Bascom-Tykeson Room.
