This vibrant event serves to connect and grow the thriving community of people who practice yoga, sustainable living and holistic health and wellness in the Eugene area.

The Sanctuary Space, hosted by Yogi Tea, includes opening and closing ceremonies, Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga and gentle yoga classes and keynote speaker Michele Bulgatz, who has been practicing yoga for over 30 years. Workshops in the Sacred Shala place and Enlightenment lounge include healing yoga classes, sound healing, mindfulness practices, devotional music, philosophical conversations and much more. A Zen Den will be open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. for silent and guided meditations on the hour. A full schedule can be found on the event's website

CommUNITY Yoga Celebration is sponsored by local businesses Yogi Tea, Springfield Creamery, A Billion New Friends, The Bier Stein Bottleshop & Pub, Hypnosis by Kevin Elbert and Sundance Natural Foods. Seven local yoga studios host the event: Balanced Hot Yoga, Common Bond Yoga, Eugene Yoga, Everyday People Yoga, Gather Together Yoga, Wild Light Yoga and Yoga West. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Trauma Healing Project in Eugene, which works with the community, professionals and organizations to promote healing and prevent trauma by offering a range of education, consulting and wellness services.
