"Funny Money," originally created by Ray Cooney and directed this time by Chris Pinto, will be performed at the Hult Center by The Not Ready for Retirement Players. This will be the company's third production in The Studio at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. The Not Ready for Retirement Players is made up of some of Eugene's best know actors.
"Funny Money" is a non-stop farce about a man who stumbles upon a fortune in cash when he accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase on the subway. The man, Henry, catches the attention of suspicious police officers as well as that of a mobster with a missing briefcase. Hilarity ensues when Henry arrives late to his birthday dinner that his wife has made for him with a plan to immediately move to Barcelona.
