A three day celebration of Oregon's rich aviation History. This weekend will be full of aircraft, food and fun. Enjoy breakfast Saturday morning from 8 - 11 a.m. Then, listen at 1 p.m. to the dedication of a Vans RV3 to the OAHS collection and a celebration of the most successful kit build plane in the US. Sunday is "Outlaw Day" celebrating the Oregon aviators who flew home built aircraft throughout the 1930's when they were illegal. This display will feature the 1929 Pietenpol air camper. A home built aircraft often powered by a Ford Model A engine, it was a design popular on Bernard's Field in Beaverton in the 1930's. The Pietenpol will be on display from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. BBQ lunch and ice cream available all weekend.
