Details

Something is always happening at Fifth Street Public Market, but this year they are truly outdoing themselves with the inaugural Market Fest, created to celebrate summer in a whole new way. This three-day event will be chock-full of surprises and a portion of food and beverage sales even goes to benefit local nonprofit 15th Night. Go on down to Fifth Street to kick up your heels, relax to some good tunes and delight in food and drink while participating in the day's activities.

Friday is TGIFriday with live music from Fortune's Folly, a mixology competition from Food Scene Eugene where Eugene's best bartenders will battle it out for the title of Best Beverage Mixer and a bar and beer garden so you can indulge in drinks as well.

On Saturday there will be a kids area with a teddy bear clinic, face painting and more. Also, check out a selection of classic cars and futuristic rides on display. The best chefs in Eugene will participate in an Iron Chef competition to showcase their talents. Entertainment for the day will be provided by the 12-piece Blue Wave Band and an interactive art bus. Grab food from the Public Market Eateries and enjoy a beer garden overflowing with local brews.

On Sunday, join in with 150 of your closest friends for a Marché-style long-table brunch in the middle of Fifth Avenue. Mimosas and a pop-up Bloody Mary Bar will keep everyone hydrated and local farms will provide the food for this brunch that will raise money for the Willamette Food & Farm Coalition. Tickets for this portion of the event are limited and must be purchased in advance.
