Join the Long Tom Watershed Council (LTWC) for a free tour of an Owens Creek riparian enhancement project about nine miles west of Junction City. This privately-owned site is adjacent to several other LTWC projects on private and public land that are improving habitat and water quality for fish and wildlife. Attendees will have an opportunity to view riparian plantings and a nearby culvert replacement to improve fish passage. This site is an active beaver area, and local naturalist Dave Walp will point out beaver sign and talk about how they benefit the local ecosystem.
