Discover the history and culture of Western Oregon Native American tribes from Grand Ronde Tribal member and traditional basket weaver Stephanie Craig. From the painful era of removal from traditional lands to the cultural revitalization of today, Stephanie Craig traces the resiliency of Native people and cultures through traditional basket making and more. Co-sponsored by Eugene Public Library as part of the 2018 National Endowment for the Arts Big Read program. The museum partners with Eugene Public Library and the National Endowment for the Arts to present four talks exploring Tribal traditions in Oregon.
