Details

University of Oregon paleontologist Gregory Retallack will teach the audience at Ax Billy about the ancient creatures that may once have roamed Oregon in his talk titled "New Evidence of Dinosaurs and Mammoths in Oregon." Researchers recently uncovered 43,000-year-old mammoth tracks in Central Oregon's Fossil Lake which reveal key insights into the species. The Quack Chats Pub Talk series is a free community event that brings together the academic and public communities in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss and learn about current research, innovations and discoveries happening at the University of Oregon.
