Explore Linda and Doug Carnine's 294 acre protected property containing oak savanna and woodland habitats. Katie MacKendrick, ecologist with the Long Tom Watershed Council, and Christer LaBrecque from the McKenzie River Trust will lead this tour alongside the property owners. The tour will explore the restoration practices taking place on the property and discuss how it fits into the larger picture of restoration in the Willamette Valley. Learn what restoration practices can be implemented on your own property and discuss the benefits of oak habitat restoration.
