Oregon Rocks! At Your Local Library

Details

Bring the whole family for a day at your local library sponsored by the Museum of Natural and Cultural History to learn about the natural history of the region you live in. Take off on a geology adventure and explore the ever-changing planet Earth. Hands-on exhibits will help people learn about rocks, fossils, earthquakes and volcanoes and discover the dynamic forces that have shaped Oregon's landscape over time.

Oregon Rocks will be presented at local libraries of the Willamette Valley throughout the summer. The schedule is as follows:

July 31, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Fern Ridge Public Library

August 6, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - Springfield Public Library

August 7, 1 - 2 p.m. & 3 - 4 p.m. - Eugene Public Library

August 8, 11 a.m - noon - Bethel Branch Public Library

August 8, 2 - 3 p.m. - Sheldon Branch Public Library

August 8, 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. - Cottage Grove Public Library

August 22, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Junction City Public Library
