Yussef El Guindi's "Pilgrims Musa and Sheri in the New World" will premiere in Eugene at The Very Little Theatre. Musa is an Egyptian cab driver in a big American city while Sheri is an all-American waitress. The two fall madly in love with each other but musn't let Musa's fiancee know. This romantic comedy proves that no matter where people are from, everyone is in the human journey together. Michael Malek Najjar will direct the play that infuses East/West cultural divides with the love triangle. Yussef El Guindi of Seattle will be joining for the event. This will be the Minority Voices Theatre's first fully staged production at The Very Little Theatre's Stage Left.
