Run a 50K or 25K across one of Oregon's most unique features: the coastal sand dunes. The Siuslaw Dunes Trail Run, presented by Daybreak Racing and Salomon, begins and ends at the Cleawox Lake Lodge at Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Runners will travel an incredibly diverse course through an assortment of ecoregions, from lush old-growth forest, to riverside estuaries, freshwater lakes and ancient sand dunes. The 50K (31.2 miles) takes runners south through the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and back, running partly on the beach and partly on the sand dunes farther inland. The 25K (technically 27K or 16.6 miles) follows the same route but turns back north sooner than the 50K. A post-race celebration will be held at Cleawox Lake.
