Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto from Eugene Symphony

Details

Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s thrilling Violin Concerto has it all — sweeping melodies, virtuosic fireworks, and a heart-warming canzonetta that will fill your soul. We open with Johannes Brahms’s contemplative overture and then experience the world premiere of Puerto Rican-born composer Angélica Negrón’s first ever symphony.

The Eugene Symphony is an orchestra whose mission is enriching lives through the power of music. Since 1982, the orchestra has taken up residence in the Hult Center of the Performing Arts, a performing arts venue and a cornerstone in downtown Eugene's arts and culture district.
