Experience some of the world's most talented truffle dogs compete in the only competition of its kind in North America — The Joriad Truffle Dog Championship. The Joriad begins with a series of qualifying spectator events where dogs race to find hidden truffle-scented targets with a human partner. Finalists are announced at the end of the morning's qualifying events. A championship with the finalists will take place in the afternoon in the Joriad Field Trial. Because truffle hunting in the field does not lend itself to spectator participation, this afternoon event is not open to the public.
