The Summer Showcase of Oregon Supported Living Program's Arts & Culture Program features work from a diverse and inclusive community of artists. Artists have created work in a variety of mediums including paint, clay, comics and zines, fiber arts and watercolor. Most of the work is created by the program's Open Art Studio participants. Work from three recently completed mentorships will also be featured.
Oregon Supported Living Program provides adults with disabilities tools and support to enhance their lives with emphasis on arts and community integration. The Arts & Culture Program is accessible and open to all people regardless of ability and many artists that frequently participate in the program are adults with developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities. The Lincoln Gallery is the official gallery of the program and provides space for creative classes, mentorships and exhibitions.
An opening reception will be held on June 1 as part of the First Friday ArtWalk in downtown Eugene. Live harp music and refreshments will accompany.
