The Long Tom Watershed Council is hosting a two-part turtle educational opportunity in partnership with WREN (Willamette Resources & Educational Network). This includes a limited attendance tour at Golden Gardens Park on September 22 from 9 - 11 a.m. and follow up virtual videos available October 20th. City of Eugene ecologist Lauri Holts will lead the tour and talk about turtle conservation and their life histories. A special thanks to Robin FitzClemen, who is generously sharing his western pond turtle documentary for October 20, which includes interviews with several experts.
