Telescopes have made it possible for humans to explore the universe and discover the wonders beyond Earth ever since Galileo Galilei turned his towards the cosmos in 1610. This planetarium program at the Eugene Science Center looks in to how telescopes work and unveils some of the discoveries made possible by the telescope, a tool originally made of a metal tube and two small pieces of glass. The Eugene Science Center's brand new, state-of-the-art planetarium takes visitors through an immersive, 360 degree experience into the cosmos to see the universe as never before! This show is recommended for ages seven and up.
Please note that the Eugene Science Center is closed on all University of Oregon home football game weekends.
