Plan Game Day & Where To Stay

1. Reserve Hotel Rooms Early

The influx of fans to the Eugene - Springfield area fills up area hotels quickly. Consider staying in outlying areas like Coburg, Creswell and Cottage Grove. These smaller communities are charming and are within 30 miles of Autzen Stadium via Interstate 5.

2. Make Transportation & Tailgating Plans

Will you be walking, cycling, riding a shuttle or driving to the game? Will you tailgate on-site or meet up at a local sports bar?

The Autzen Express Shuttles have park-and-ride locations at Valley River Center (Northwest parking lot), Lane Events Center (North parking lot), Pacific Source (555 International Way, Springfield) and Springfield Station (355 South A Street, Springfield). Shuttle service to Autzen Stadium begins three hours before kick-off and runs every 10 to 20 minutes. Return trips are only available during halftime and for one hour after the game. The Autzen Express is $5 per person and requires advanced purchase or LTD Honor Rider passes. Cash is not accepted.

Autzen Stadium parking lots open six hours prior to kick-off (but no earlier than 7 a.m.) and a reserved parking pass is required for entry. Re-entry into the stadium is not permitted so if you leave to tailgate at half-time, you won't be able to return to the game. Beer and wine are available throughout the main stadium, excluding the student section. Stadium gates open three hours prior to kickoff (except for the East Gate which opens 90 minutes before kickoff).

Students often walk from campus and the Franklin Blvd area along footpaths through the parks, over the pedestrian Autzen footbridge and through the beautiful fall forests. This is a fun way to get there! Sometimes independent pedicabs are available to give people a lift. If you ride a bicycle, there is secured bicycle parking offered called the Duck Pen.

Explore your options and make your transportation and parking arrangements ahead of time for a seamless game day experience.

Rallies & Watch Parties

3. Get Your Fan Gear

Duck football players are some of the best dressed in the sport! Likewise, Duck fans often don color-coordinated apparel. Shop The Duck Store online or at Valley River Center, UO campus or at Autzen Stadium.

Hirons, Fred Meyers and Walmart also stock University of Oregon logo-wear. If the popular colors are sold-out, check the local Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores for Oregon Duck resale.

4. Download the UO Apps

Not only can you hear the Oregon Marching Band play "Mighty Oregon" on this mobile application (look for the music note in the upper left corner), the UOregon app features a variety of campus self-guided walking tours, parking maps and safety resources.

For those who prefer having a guide, UO student ambassadors conduct campus tours from the Ford Alumni Center.

There is also a Go Ducks Gameday App with live audio and chock full of stats. Use this app to manage your game day tickets.

What to Expect at Autzen Stadium

  • Paperless tickets only, accessible only on the game day app on your mobile device.
  • Like previous seasons; only one clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”, or a one-gallon plastic storage bag, per person may be brought in.
  • Pandemic protocols have been rolled back - masks, vaccination or separate entrances by vaccination status are no longer required.
  • No re-entry.
