NOTICE: This area is temporarily closed due to previous wildfires. Please check with the Willamette National Forest for updated information. Salmon Creek Falls is a small 5 - 10 foot (1,5 - 3 m) drop in the year-round creek. The day-use area makes a great spot for picnicking and kayaking. In spring, look for wild thimbleberries and in summer, find hazelnuts. Salmon Creek is part of the Willamette River watershed in the Willamette National Forest and managed by the Middle Fork Ranger Station. There is a campground, picnic tables, restrooms, drinking water, recycling center and garbage containers. Take Hwy 58 to Salmon Creek Hatchery Rd at Oakridge, and then turn right on Salmon Creek Rd. DAY-USE FEE AREA/RECREATION PASS REQUIRED.
