The Shotgun Creek OHV area offers a mix of challenges, scenic views, technical features and facilities to satisfy the OHV enthusiast. Thirty miles of forest trails wind through 8,320 acres (3367 ha) of low-elevation forest located in the middle of the Willamette Valley.
There are 2 OHV facilities for riders, Crooked Creek Staging Site and Cascade View OHV Complex. Restrooms, picnic tables and a loading ramp are located at both staging areas. Dispersed camping is allowed at the Crooked Creek Staging Area. There is a novice rider beginner trail loop located at the day-use Cascade View OHV Complex. The Shotgun Creek OHV area is open to riders year round with the best conditions in the fall and spring. Trails get dusty in the summer and slick in the winter.
